A native of Pittsfield, Ryan is licensed to practice acupuncture by the Massachusetts Board of Medicine and licensed in the states of Connecticut and Wisconsin. He holds National Board Certifications in acupuncture and Chinese herbology. He holds a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine from one of the oldest and most well established schools in the country, Midwest College in Oriental Medicine.

Widely recognized for his knowledge and expertise in the field, Ryan has held faculty positions at Wisconsin Institute of Chinese Herbology, Connecticut Institute for Herbal Studies, Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, Wisconsin School of Massage.

During his 20+ years in the field of oriental medicine, Ryan studied under the medical experts Sidong Chen M.D( from Guangzhou, China), Dr. Xiping Zhou (of Harbin, China), and Dr. Ye Song (of Beijing China). He has completed post graduate training in a number of areas, including pulse diagnosis, chinese medicine in the treatment of trauma (i.e injuries), acupuncture strategies for women’s health issues, chinese herbal medicine for treating autoimmune disorders, and others.

He puts his experience and training to work every day at the clinic for the benefit of all his patients.
